This book is 163 selected photos from the 2022 Baja 1000 where I joined a film crew documenting the 1100 Bug and GHA Racing team. I photographed behind the scenes, getting to see just how many people, how much preparation, and all the determination it takes to get a car to the race and on the track. This was a use of the full 36 hours that the cars are given to complete the race, facing break downs and setbacks, only a team as determined as these guys could pull it off. I documented the crews, some of the car on the course, and the landscapes that surrounded us. This is a selection of both film and digital photos that have been organized into a story that takes you page by page, to get a feeling of how it is following a class 11 bug through the race.
